Application design changes:
Design Changes are significant changes that take place over a gradual period. These changes are applied over a 3 - 6 month period and can even extend depending on the changes required.
Application fixes:
Fixes such as bug fixes improve the functionality of an application as well as any link that is broken. This also applies to compatibility issues that may be experienced across a range of devices. These fixes occur between 7 days to 1 month, dependent on the fix required.
Application Compatibility:
Compatibility issues are fixed over a time length however this is solely at the discretion of the developer. For a compatibility guideline, no compatibility issues that are existent below Android OS 4.0 will be fixed or resolved. The device brands given Compatibility priority* are Samsung, Sony, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Huawei, LG and Google Nexus.
Non- Android development:
Apps within this centre are within the Android ecosystem only. Extension to other platforms are given via the Amazon App Store that serve devices such as BlackBerry. Devices running platforms such as iOS, Windows OS, BlackBerry OS and Tizen OS are not given support nor is there any plan of support at this time.
Other Platform Support:
Support via other devices such as PS4, Apple TV, Apple & Android wear, Amazon Fire stick, Roku and Chromecast are not opened yet nor likely anytime soon. As these devices require additional support and coding that are out of the boundaries of development at this particular stage, support is not given for these additional devices.
