What is the Qur'an Challenge?
The Qur'an Challenge is a competition held exclusively on Al- Islam 24's Facebook profile. Questions about the Holy Qur'an are asked and each question is worth a certain number of points and that person who gets the highest points wins. How do I enter? An Application form is required to be completed in order to participate in the Qur'an Challenge. Please select 'Participants list' for the Application form for the current year. How many rounds are there? There are approximately between 6 - 10 rounds in total. This includes elimination rounds. Elimination rounds has a pass/proceed mark of 60%* below which a participant is eliminated from the competition. How does the points system work? Each question is worth a certain number of points and the points per question is not a set number. This is set at the discretion of the examiner. The examiner may also use the negative points system (i.e answering a question incorrect is worth negative points). What are the other rules? - When entering your name, make sure you enter your Facebook name. - Keep within the stipulated time or else your answers will not be accepted resulting in you forfeiting that round. - It is recommended not to leave an answer blank. In some cases however leaving a blank will not allow for the system to accept your submission. This will be communicated to you before you take a Quiz. - The correct answers are given to you as soon as you submit your answers thus Al- Islam 24 will not provide the correct answers again. Please make sure you check the answers at the end. *Elimination rounds concession/re-provision: The Pass/proceed mark may be adjusted at the discretion of Al- Islam 24. |
